SAW 3D
As a ‘Saw-movies’ sick lover, it
was a HUGE surprise to me to see Sean Patrick Flanery starring as the main character from SAW 3D. He plays Bobby Dagen, a man who, with some people help, pretends to
be a victim of one of Jigsaw’s games to be famous and get money.
At first, everything seems to be
ok, lots of people are buying the book, he appears in TV shows, makes book
signatures, summarizing, all he needs to grow according to his and his friends' plans.

Something else that makes us take his side is his innocent wife. She has
no ideia about his lies and we can see that she really loves him. At first you
can’t get what he feels about her, but in the end, you can say for sure that
it’s a real feeling
The way Sean plays Bobby makes us
think about how wrong is to lie, if you aren't hurting anyone. He isn't a
bad guy, but he’s doing something so wrong that catches the viewer's attention: we do
want him to be punished, but we also feel sorry for him.

At some point he receives an unexpected
“fan”: Jigsaw himself. Bobby doesn’t know who he is, but he knows this
guy is dangerous and that something isn't ok. He receives a kind of
warning, but he has no idea what is going to happen.
As a moral lesson, Bobby and all
the ones involved in this huge lie are confined in a real Saw game. He's the
one who has to save the others. While he tries to set people free from the
gadgets, he keeps receiving televison images of his wife in the last gadget (he’ll be only able to find her
after releasing the first ones).

As he sees he’s not able to
save them, he gets more and more frustrated and mad at himself. He needs to
help them, but the more he tries, the less he does.
A lot happens while he's in the
middle of this horror journey; Thar can confuse some viewers who aren't that
involved with the whole story.
This is the seventh Saw movie,
and the critics say this isn't the best one, but, for sure, the movie is a remarkable one for
everyone who enjoys blood, screams and a very handsome actor.

After Boondock Saints (I and II), I choose Deadly Impact as the best one. His role as a cop suffering with grief (wont tell why) becomes something good and motivational to find the bad guy in the movie. =) Thomas Armstrong is THE hot cop himself
